*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
I took my stoopid malfunctioning Creative Zen V Plus to the
Creative HQ just now.
Well, the fella who attended to me wasn't sure whether they could
do a one-to-one exchange. He said that the engineers had to examine
it first, and he promised that they would examine as soon as
possible.
Less than one hour later, I received a call. Turns out that the
software was corrupted - they can't do a one-to-one exchange in
that case as it's not a hardware fault. They reformatted it and
reinstalled the software, and it works fine now.
Oh well. I guess I'm just going to have to accept it. After all,
they were highly efficient to do all that in less than one
hour.
I'll be off to Creative HQ at around 4pm once I'm zonked out from
revision.
